 HOW TO USE UNICODE?

  Use Unicode

Unicode the need of time or a change of period whatever you say is necessary to internationalize the use of computer and its software. I called it change of time in the sense that time has changed now computer in not only used by US military or special purpose office or scientists or mathematicians or any other special sector only. Its use range from use in NASA by astrologers to a home in S|o|l|u|k|h|u|m|b|u (base c|a|m|p of M|t. E|v|e|r|e|s|t), flying plane to submarine deep inside the sea.

When computer is used in different sectors, different people of different language then why not make them easily understandable by all type of people with different language, different educational levels. It is possible if you present computer in there own language, and let them express in there own way.

This is possible with Unicode. Though this is not only what makes Unicode useful. It has internal importance also in computer work. Computer internally used to use Unicode to represent characters lots before then being used to internationalize. It was developed between 1988 to 1991 by Unicode consortium.

Unicode takes each alphabetical characters in two bytes which makes it possible to represent wide range of characters. It can contain alphabets of almost all languages. I have listed below the methods to fallow, go step by step.

Method to install and use is very simple but lengthy.

1) To install a new language in a computer go to control panel => "language and regional settings" => go to languages tab => check "install files for complex script and right-to-left languages [including Thai]". Also "Install files for east Asian languages" if you are in that area. For this you may need to show path to windows files or Windows CD. And restart your computer.

2) Again go to control panel => "language and regional settings" => go to languages tab => click Detail... => in setting tab => click add =>choose your "Input language" and "keyboard layout/IME" click ok for all.

3) Now you are ready to use Unicode. Either select from language bar or Just press ALT SHIFT in combination your language changes.

4) Try by writing in notepad where you could not use your language and English at a time.

Remember keyboard layout can be installed from a third party CDs or freely downloadable in the internet. Just write the "name of your language" + "Keyboard layout Unicode"
for example "
Hindi Unicode keyboard layout"
change blue text with your language and type green text as it is in search engine and find free keyboard layout download.
